Teleprompter Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026.
Teleprompter by Father of Web ("the app") is made by Father of Web LLC. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: it doesn't collect any.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It doesn't send anything to Father of Web or to anyone else.
What stays on your iPhone
Your scripts are saved only on your iPhone, inside the app. If you use iCloud backup, they're included in your device backup like other app data.
Your videos are saved to your Photos library, or to the app's folder in the Files app if you don't allow Photos access. They never leave your device unless you share them yourself.
Your settings, like text size and speed, are saved only on your iPhone.
Permissions
Camera: to film you while the script scrolls.
Microphone: to record your voice with the video.
Photos (add only): to save finished videos to your library. The app can't see or read your existing photos.
You can turn any of these off in the Settings app. The prompter still works for reading without them.
Children
The app doesn't collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
